Christmas is coming!

With this in mind, and knowing what a busy time of year this is, we have kept our Winter News short.

Whether making donations, sharing your expertise, raising awareness and money through events, selling or buying our Xmas cards, or following our activities through our News and giving encouragement - all your support is very much appreciated.

Annual Report and Accounts

We have now been in existence for more than 3 years and have had another very successful year.

Through generous donations, fund-raising endeavours and careful management we added £30, 510.93 to our reserves this year. We have a long way to go if we want to fund a multi-million pound clinical research project (and they don’t come cheaper than that) but we have enough for limited projects and to continue our core work of providing information and support to patients and carers.

We have had considerable success raising awareness amongst the medical profession in the last 3 years. However, most of the general public remain in ignorance of what is now recognised by NICE as the 4th commonest cause of cancer mortality in England & Wales.

Our annual report for 2009/10 (our year end is 1 Oct) is now available on line.
